Earthquake Struck Chile

Chile. February 27 at around 3:34am local time, a great devastating 8.8 magnitude earthquake struck Chile, one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded. The strongest ever recorded is still in Chile on May 22, 1960, that struck Valdivia Chile had a magnitude of 9.5 on the Richter scale. Second and third are from Sumatra, Indonesia December 26, 2004 with a magnitude of 9.3 and March 27, 1964 in Alaska with a magnitude of 9.2

About hundreds are are dead in just a minute and half the tremor of earthquake in Santiago, the center of Chile. Tsunami is now observing and it goes toward Eastern Pacific, the Tsunami will travel for about 24 hours as they calculated. Since Japan was one country feared on the warning in Chile, the updated news lowered their level of warning to regular warning on their eastern coast. Hungers and thirst in Chile are affecting the people there for the effect of earthquake.
